Artivism Workshop: Health and Climate without Oil

Promoted by the Amazonian Work Network (GTA), the workshop “Artivism: Health and Climate without Oil” brings together young people, artists, and activists to explore art as a tool for denouncing and mobilizing against the climate crisis and the impacts of the fossil fuel industry on the health of the Amazonian peoples. Through expressions such as graffiti, music, performance, and the collective creation of visual messages, the activity seeks to translate the struggle for a healthy planet free of fossil fuels into artistic and popular language. The meeting strengthens the protagonism of Amazonian artists committed to the defense of life, territory, and a just energy transition, uniting aesthetics and resistance in a single voice: without oil, there is more health, clean air, and a future.
