Cross-border dialogues of the global south: protecting environmental defenders to advance climate justice with the Escazú Agreement

The event “Cross-Border Dialogues of the Global South” will bring together leaders, organizations, and movements from different regions of Africa, Asia, and Latin America to share experiences of resistance and popular alternatives in the face of the climate crisis and green neocolonialism. It will be a space for listening and collective construction among peoples facing the same challenges imposed by extractivism and false market solutions. From the territories of the South emerges a single voice: for sovereignty, climate justice, and solidarity among peoples.
