Organized by the Women’s Coordination of the Amazonian Work Network (GTA), the event brings together female leaders from different territories of the Amazon to discuss the links between ecofeminism, climate justice, and the defense of common goods. The program includes roundtables and a thematic plenary session on the role of women in building sustainable alternatives, resisting the impacts of climate change, and promoting a just and inclusive transition. The meeting seeks to strengthen Amazonian women’s networks, make their experiences in defending the forest visible, and inspire new forms of political and community action based on solidarity, care, and the autonomy of the forest peoples.
